Cowboy Carriage House

$175.00 / $220.00 night

A short stroll down the walk behind the "Alhambra" reveals its matching "Carriage House".

As an excited family or couple open the door, they'll be greeted with a scene from childhood "westerns". Furnished with authentic, vintage western decor, including wagon wheel furniture, boots, spurs and hat. The pine-paneled walls speak of generations of cowboys and cowgirls, along with illustrations unerringly sketched by Vint Williams, family historian and original "cowboy".

Carraige House kitchen

Furnished with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, hot plate, cooking items and sink. Rustic pine stairs lead to a loft above where cowboy twin beds are lit by vintage lamps, spreading their glow under the eaves. (Laura Ingalls would have loved this place)

NEW: Beautiful log queen bed on groundfloor (photos coming soon)

A relaxing soak in your personal clawfoot tub/shower might inspire you to curl up with a book, hike into a blazing sunset of magenta and gold or listen to evening sounds under the cedars as you take in our celestial night show of stars.

Sunrise comes softly to the "Louisa's Room". Restful and romantic in soft shades of cream, blue and rose with it's pretty wrought iron bed and lace curtains blowing in the breeze. Hung proudly on the wall is the marriage certificate of William Leggett and his sweetheart, Alice Goble, wed in 1874, great grandparents of Louisa, Lyndy's mother, from whom she claims her Irish heritage. Grace's Room

$130.00 / $130.00 night

The sunrise is seen best from "Grace's Room", named for that strong, but loving pioneer great-grandmother who toiled with her family to help build the Triangle Ranch.

Furnished with her oak sleigh bed and dresser, which was carried west in their wagon. Her only set of furniture, it previously resided in their "sod dugout" and log home. If that old bed could talk, it would tell of the night "Grandpa Baldy's" .45 went off in the dark and all were spared. Nowadays it has a much softer life with a comfy mattress, lofty cherry red quilt and a skirt of white battenburg lace.
