As an excited family or honeymoon couple open the door, they'll be greeted with a scene from childhood "westerns". Furnished with authentic, vintage western decor, including wagon wheel furniture and spurs once worn by a horse thief as he was hanged. The pine-paneled walls speak of generations of cowboys and cowgirls, along with illustrations unerringly sketched by Vint Williams, family historian and original "cowboy". The 1930's kitchenette offers all the amenities - refrigerator, microwave, sink and cooking items. Rustic pine stairs lead to a loft above where your queen bed is lit by kerosene bracket lamps, spreading their glow under the pine eaves. (Laura Ingalls would have loved this place).

  • Irish Lover's Room

Irish Lover's Room Soak Away Your Stress In Your Claw Foot Tub

Upstairs, the "Irish Lover's Room", in soft creams, blues and rose is restful and romantic with it's wrought iron bed and lace curtains blowing in the breeze. Hung proudly on the wall, in an antique carved frame, is the marriage certificate of William Leggett and his sweetheart, Alice Goble, wed in 1874,great-great grandparents from whom Lyndy claims her Irish heritage. Features clawfoot tub/shower and adjoining private bath. (Private bath, queen bed, AC, full breakfast and wireless internet - $104).

  • Grace's Room

Grace's RoomThe sunrise is seen best from "Grace's Room", named for that strong, but loving pioneer great-grandmother who toiled with her family to help build the Triangle Ranch.

It is graced by the oak sleigh bed and dresser, carried west in their wagon, which previously resided in their "sod dugout" and log home. If that old bed could talk, it would tell of the night "Grandpa Baldy's" .45 went off in the dark and all were spared. But it has a much softer life now with a lofty cherry red comforter and skirt of white battenburg lace. (Private bath with walk-in shower, queen antique sleigh bed, AC, full breakfast, wireless internet - $104 ).

  • Esther's Room

Esther RoomThe afternoon sun sets "Esther's Room" aglow, highlighting the dark wood of her spindle bed dressed in white. The sun's warmth is reflected on the beautiful hand-feathered frames displaying generations of family pictures. Esther's school books and favorite novels are at your fingertips. Your adjoining bathroom, papered in French toile to honor Esther's heritage, will afford you the privacy you require. (Queen bed, private bath with walk-in shower, AC, full breakfast, wireless internet - $99).

  • Mathilda's Room

    Mathilda Private Bath Mathilda Room

In the west room the spirit of "Mathilda" lives on in her quilts, crocheted linens and hand-painted china, all created during the long nights while she was "proving up" on her homestead. Your first waking sight will be blue sky and songbirds winging from tree to tree. Two steps down the hall your private bath is the original, deluxe from Sears, Roebuck & Co. (twin beds or a "King bed conversion option" for multiple night stay, private bath with clawfoot tub/shower, AC, full breakfast, wireless internet - $89 single, $99 double, King bed conversion $104).
