  • Insider's Info

Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers.  Many thanks to Greg Adkins for sharing his own secrets with BBOnline.com!
Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

Travelers stay with us because we are centrally located. We are one mile south of downtown and one mile north of the Biltmore Estate. In addition, the Inn is a 30start AAA rated B&B with luxery appointments.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

We are best known for our breakfast. Guests always refer to our great food in the reviews. We are a historical home that was completely renovated in 1995  and has had modifications and additions made through 2011.

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

The #1 reason to visit Asheville is The Biltmore Estate and the beautiful outdoor activities and vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

Our guests say that they love the comfort and feeling of being at home. What better compliment is there?

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

Most people are surprised to find that we have many beautiful waterfalls in the area.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

If someone is staying for more than a couple of nights, we suggest they go for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and visit the Biltmore Estate. In the spring/summer months, fly fishing, tubing, kayaking and hiking are in great demand. In the Fall there is the leaf season and the beauty of the foliage change throughout the area.

Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

We are a mile from downtown and the Biltmore, so some people like to walk, but you would need to drive to most attractions and restaurants in the area. We are located in the mountains in a residential neighborhood.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

We love Curate (authentic Spanish tapas), Modesto (Northern Italian) and Corner Kitchen (seasonal fare). But that is only the tip of the mountain - with over 80 restayrantas, none of them a chain, the food scene in Asheville is awsome.

Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference?
How many rooms does your inn have?

    We have 6 rooms.

    Do you accept pets?

Sorry, we love animals, but the Inn does not accept pets.
