Our 10,000-square-foot Victorian-style farmhouse features twelve unique guest rooms along with five romantic cottages, each thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, charm, and relaxation. Many accommodations include two-person bedside Jacuzzis, fireplaces, cozy sitting areas, handmade heirloom quilts, antique furnishings, historic photographs, original artwork, and other distinctive touches that make every room special.

From the Kitchen

Remember when Grandma’s kitchen was the favorite room in the house? That is the feeling guests often find at Blue Mountain Mist. With the kitchen doors open and the aroma of homemade desserts filling the air,

 many evenings naturally turn into relaxed gatherings as guests enjoy fresh pie, cake, and conversation.

Each morning, family-style breakfasts are served in the lace-filled dining room overlooking the valleys and layered hills of the Smoky Mountains. Breakfast begins with a fresh fruit cup topped with Norman’s special recipe, followed by hearty Tennessee favorites such as eggs, biscuits, sawmill gravy, sausage, bacon, and grits. Guests may also enjoy Sarah’s stuffed French toast, three-cheese-and-ham stromboli, Norman’s sausage and egg quiche made with Sarah’s homemade biscuits, pumpkin pancakes, and other chef’s-choice surprises. Whatever is on the menu, you will not start your day hungry.

In the evenings, guests can also enjoy our by-reservation dinner experience offered select nights throughout the week. Prepared by our in-house chef, dinners feature comforting Southern-inspired cuisine, seasonal specialties, and homemade desserts served in a relaxed country setting. Many guests consider dinner at Blue Mountain Mist to be one of the hidden gems of their Smoky Mountain getaway.
