Greenbrier
If you are a quilt lover, then this room is for you. It is filled with heirloom quilts, and the high wooden headboard on the queen bed, adds lots of rustic charm. Be sure to notice the painting by Norman of the Greenbrier settlement before the National Park relocated its inhabitants. A cherished quilt in this room is the friendship quilt. Names from both sides of Sarah’s family are on the quilt.
Named after the community where Sarah's Dad grew up, this room reflects the country lifestyle of our mountain ancestors. Greenbrier was a very large community of over 135 families, several churches, schools and a hotel. It is one of our favorite places in the National Park.

Elkmont
The blue and white toile printed quilt on the king size bed and light blue sheers on the windows make this room dreamy and romantic.
Named after the Elkmont Community, which now is inside the National Park boundary. This was the heart of the logging industry and where Norman's dad grew up and learned to play the fiddle. The trail along the river here is beautiful. Early June brings the magical lighting bugs to this area.

Smoky Mountain Academy
This corner room features a hardwood floor and queen bed. A bright sunny room overlooking the rolling hills and valley with English Mountain in the background. Awake each morning to this lovely scene. This guest room is dedicated to all school teachers.
Smoky Mountain Academy was the name of a mission high school which was established for the mountain families in the early 1900’s. Both of Sarah's parents graduated from this school. See their outstanding ornate diplomas hanging on the wall.

White Oak Flats
This room features a very unique in-room claw foot whirl pool tub and queen size antique iron bed. There is a shower in the bathroom. It is delicately decorated with a lavender pallet, to help you wash away your worldly worries.
White Oak Flats was the original name for Gatlinburg.

Ramsey Cascades
This room will easily accommodate 2 or 3 having a queen and twin bed, perfect for "girlfriends getaway" or a family of 3 looking to experience the Smoky Mountains or Dollywood. The delicate Victorian-styled iron bedstead along with the soft pinks and greens of the room make you feel as if you have stepped into a beautiful flower garden.
This room is named after one of the beautiful waterfalls in the National Park.

Cades Cove
The pioneering spirit of our ancestors inspired a patriotic theme for this room which is filled with highly hand carved wooden furniture and luscious pillow top king bed. It will give you the spirit of 1776!
Cades Cove, the most popular section of the National Park, is where some of the homes and churches of the mountain people were left intact when the Park was established. An 11 mile, one way loop takes you through this picturesque valley.

Laurel Falls
This unique room has an antique, bedside claw footed tub for you to soak away your cares, a walk in shower in the bathroom and queen size bed. Green and peach colors fill this room with warmth and romance. Feel as if you have stepped back to a more relaxing time. The view looks out over the patio and down the valley and mountains to the east.
Laurel Falls is the park’s most popular waterfalls. It is beautifully depicted in the watercolor painting above the bed.

Shields Fort
Relax in the country blues of this room, filled with Shields' family heirlooms. The queen bed has a beautiful high antique headboard.
Named for Shields' Fort, the first settlement in this area, which was built by Sarah's mother's ancestors just a few miles from the inn. This pioneering family consisted of 10 brothers and 1 sister. Be sure to see the family tree in the common area.

LeConte Suite
This sunrise suite is the largest room in the inn and can accommodate 4 people. However many couples choose LeConte for the extra space and the views. Being a corner room there are views both South and East. In addition to the bedroom there is a large sitting room with a daybed and trundle. You can greet the morning sunrise from your king size bed or from the semiprivate balcony overlooking the pond, gazebo, rose arbor, and mist covered mountains. Mt. LeConte can be seen just over Shields Mountain.
Mt. LeConte is one of the highest peaks in the Smoky National Park. The lodge on top of this mountain is accessed only by trail, the shortest being 5 miles. Sarah's Dad's first cousin built the lodge there and his family operated it for years. It is a wonderful adventure to hike up there and spend the night. The accommodations are very primitive, but they stay booked over a year in advance.

Rainbow Falls
A stained glass window depicting the Rainbow Falls is the central focus of this room. The handcrafted and custom designed window separates the queen bed from the large Jacuzzi tub, making it a very cozy enclosure for two. This most unique room also enjoys a view of the Smokies and opens onto a semiprivate balcony.
Rainbow Falls is considered one of the most beautiful falls in the National Park. If conditions are just right a rainbow can be seen over the falls.

Sugarlands
This room with a queen bed is one of the most romantic, designed especially for honeymoons or anniversary celebrations. The large oversized Jacuzzi tub sets boldly in the turret, surrounded by windows offering a beautiful view. A shiny hardwood floor and fireplace make this room unique. An outside door leads to a shared balcony with the same awe inspiring view of the mountains beyond the manicured grounds. There is also TV/DVD and full bath.
The name Sugarlands may make you think of a sweet place, however it was one of the original settlements in the Smoky Mountains. It was named after the Sugar Maple trees that grow there. Norman's mother lived there as a little girl. The name is now used for the National Park's main visitor's center, a great place to stop for information on the Great Smoky Mountains.

Queen Ann's Lace
This dainty, royal sounding wildflower grows abundantly in the fields around the Blue Mountain Mist, blooming in July and August.
The Queen Ann's Lace cottage also has a very royal and romantic appearance. The queen bed is draped in lace and pink and purple chiffon. The antique fireplace mantle, Victorian-styled furnishings and black and white kitchen take you back to days of old fashioned chivalry. Soak up all of this royal romance from your bedside 2-person Jacuzzi.

Morning Glories are delicate hedge row flowers which close their blooms in the heat of the day.
Let your day to day cares and problems close as these blossoms do and awaken to a renewed and refreshed outlook on life as you enjoy this lovely cottage. It is filled with beautiful blue, peach and pale yellow colors which even stream through the stained glass window over the 2-person Jacuzzi. Sheer draping on the queen canopy bed adds that extra romantic feel, and the whitewashed Kitchenette in the Morning Glory Cottage kitchen cabinets top off the overall charm.

Lady Slipper
Lady slippers are one of the most unique of the mountain wildflowers and always a thrill to find. Sarah can tell you where to find them in April.
This cottage is also unique. It is boldly decorated in dark teal and mauve. Roses accent the canopy on the queen bed which sets next to the large 2-person Jacuzzi. You can snuggle up on the love seat in front of the fireplace or enjoy listening to the birds from the porch swing on the back porch, either way the thrill of romance abounds in this unique setting.

Honeysuckle
The most sweet smelling of all the country wildflowers, Honeysuckle can be found blooming in the woods and along the fence rows all around the Blue Mountain Mist in early summer.
The warmth of country woodlands is reflected in this cottage's beautiful pine paneled interior. Also boxed in pine is the large 2-person Jacuzzi where you can soak away your worries.

Trillium
Trillium are the beautiful wildflowers of the deep woods. You may spot one in Sarah's wildflower garden in April or just outside this cottage door.
This cottage has the true feel of the forest. Sitting in the woods, it is the most secluded of our 5 cottages. Natural colors and textures create a rustic, yet romantic, feel in this cottage. Stenciled leaves adorn the wall above the unique King headboard made from an old organ top, and earth tones filter through the stained glass window above the 2-person Jacuzzi. Inhale the green fragrances from the porch swing or rest your hiked-out feet in front of the fireplace.

Bluebird RV
Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Spa takes all the fun of camping and pairs it with the amenities of staying in a Bed and Breakfast. The Bluebird is a 2000 model 36 ft RV with 2 slides and a 16 ft awning. It has a queen size, bed full bath, kitchen, living room area, and it own private picnic area. Included in your stay is a full breakfast each morning which can be delivered to you or you can come up to the main house and eat with other guest. Also included are our signature evening desserts which are served at Temptation Station at the Main House.

Policies
- Rates are based on 2 people each additional person is $15.
- Open year around.
- Check-in between 3 and 9 PM. Arrival after 10 pm call to make arrangements.
- Check-out by 11 AM
- Cancellations: If reservation is cancelled prior to 14 days of arrival there will be a $25 processing fee. If cancellation is within the 14 days you will be responsible for each night reserved unless we are able to rebook those nights. (This policy will vary with holidays, October and groups booking the whole Inn.)
