    The Maxwell House, a charming 100 year old Craftsman home, is owned and operated by Penny Maxwell Bingham. Penny has been an innkeeper for over 10 years and delights in providing her guests with wonderful hospitality. For several months, she oversaw a fantastic remodel of this exquisite house and welcomes you to her beautifully restored home.

    The city of Walla Walla is known for its wine tasting and year round beauty. In 2005, Sunset Magazine, named Walla Walla the best wine destination of the year.

    On display and available are water color paintings of the colors, sights, and scenery of the Walla Walla Valley by local artist Jean Ann Mitchell of nearby Milton Freewater, OR.

    Guests of the Maxwell House have opportunity to enjoy our beautifully restored Craftsman style home with a warm living room for use at anytime, a serene private yard, and a fabulous porch - perfect for afternoon tea and a good book. Each bedroom has cable TV, an electric fireplace, fluffy terry cloth robes and wireless internet access.

    Your stay includes a delicious homemade breakfast, refreshments and comfortable hospitality. There are even bicycles available for exercise or sight seeing.

    We have such an abundance I cannot choose just one-a large variety in food type and ambiance

    4 with a bonus room for families or close friends who will share a bath.
