    Dacha Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to the Dacha Country Inn!         Dacha is a Russian word meaning "Country vacation Home." We invite you to be our guest in our "country home" on the beautiful quiet Dakota prairie!

We are located in Northeast South Dakota along the state line of the two Dakotas. Our Inn is in a peaceful country setting where we believe the sunrises are second to none!

If you are an outdoorsman we have THE place to stay no matter if you hunt of fish in ND or SD because we are located on the state line!!

Maybe your church group would like a great place to host ladies, men’s or kids' groups for in depth bible studies, church planning committees, or just for the fun of it, this place is it!

Are you looking for a peaceful place to spend some quiet time with your spouse, get re-acquainted with friends or family... maybe just a place to go to read a good book and re- energize yourself? I am telling you, this would be a great place to do any of these things!

If you are in the area for a job we have great overnight lodging or we have long term rentals available too if that is what you need!!

    Our Mission scripture is...

"Continue to love each other with true Christian love. Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers for some who have done this have entertained angels unaware"

    Hebrews 13:1-2

We invite you to come "share" our peaceful place with us on the Dakota prairie!

Check out our rooms and rates page and our cabin ....., "Camp Dacha."

  • Insider's Info

Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers. Many thanks to Joelle Johnson for sharing her own secrets with BBOnline.com!
Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

Although we do not provide land to hunt on, Hunters love staying here because it is like home…only better! We also get many church groups because of location, also we have enough beds to accommodate larger groups. Or Couples come here to just unwind from their busy lives.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

The peacefulness of our place best answers all 3 of these questions!

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

Hunting, family time, work related business or just Peace & Quiet

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

There are so many it is hard to choose! But the ones that are so precious to me are when I get a thank you card in the mail or a picture drawn on a paper from children who have stayed here with their parents, what a blessing it is to know that a child knows and understands that they are welcome and that we are excited about them being here too!

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    Sun Rises & Sunset

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

Spending time just being at ease without all the hustle bustle of life!

Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    Nature.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

We only have 1 restaurant close but it is a very good “home town” café. You should also know because of our rural location you will need to fill up with gas before you come here as the nearest gas station is about 20 miles away!

How many rooms does your inn have?

We have 4 rooms, but because of the uniqueness of our room sizes and bed spaces, we can accommodate approximately 20 guests.

    Do you accept pets?

Pets are a big part of our hunting clientele. Although we do not allow pets in the rooms, we do have a "dog dorm"  where they can stay as long as they are kept in their kennels.
