    Our Bed and Breakfast in Burlington, VT is a short walk away from Burlington's Church Street Marketplace, University of Vermont, Champlain College, and Fletcher Allen Health Care. We welcome families with children, but are unable to accommodate pets.

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Most travelers stay with us because we offer the comforts of home and the privacy of staying in a hotel.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    People rave about our breakfasts and the friendliness of our staff and their willingness to serve guests. We strive to be a home away from home for guests. The historic ambience of the inn is one of its best features.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    Burlington is a destination city with countless events, great restaurants, cultural and recreational attractions, and great people!

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    Guests often say “We don’t want to leave!”

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    Most people don’t associate Vermont with city life, but Burlington is a hip city located in a beautiful setting with something always happening.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    During the winter, guests can enjoy high-class performances and concerts at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, brewery tours at Magic Hat and other local breweries and nearby cross country and downhill skiing opportunities. During the summer and fall, guests take advantage of winery tours in Shelburne, the Burlington Bike Path, the Waterfront Concert Series, Lake Champlain, and the Burlington Farmer’s Market and nearby hiking opportunities.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    We are located in Burlington’s downtown district; the Church Street Marketplace is 3 blocks away, the University of Vermont is very close, and Lake Champlain is a short stroll down the hill.

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Church and Main, EB Strong’s Prime Steakhouse, and Pistou are some of Burlington’s newer and inventive restaurants. And they serve delicious food!

    How many rooms does your inn have?

    We have 11 rooms total; 9 rooms are in the Main House and 2 rooms are in our Carriage House.

    Do you accept pets?

    We do not accept pets.

    Lang House on Main Street Bed & Breakfast food

    Fresh homemade breakfast at our Burlington Vermont Inn is served in our Dining Room and Sun Porch, on the first floor, every morning between 8:00am and 10:00am. The Lang House breakfast menu is created according to the season, as well as accommodating to your dietary needs or preferences.

    Coffee, tea and spring water are available throughout the day, and homemade treats each afternoon.

    Local brewed beer and a great selection of wine, alongside a Vermont cheese plates are also offered.

    Due to Vermont state regulations, guest are not allowed to bring their own alcohol.
