Each year, the Zion Canyon Art and Flute Festival takes place during the month of June. The festival features world-class flute recording artists, native artists, and flute makers along with techniques and demonstrations. Theres a lot to see and do for the entire family. Every Saturday evening from mid-May through September, Zion National park is host to Jazz, Bluegrass, and Celtic music and dance performances at the Summer Concert Series at the Tanner Amphitheater. Zion National Park provides a wide array of outdoor activities that include hiking, bird-watching and ranger-led activities. If canyoneering or whitewater rafting are on your "to do" list, do not miss the Virgin River, which flows through many of the southwestern canyons and gorges. After a day on the River, or in the park, you'll really appreciate all that your stay at a nearby Springdale bed and breakfast or a Springdale inn has to offer.
