The Home Place Bed & Breakfast
Nanny's Room
Named for a maternal grandmother, this room has a 3/4 bed ( a little larger than a twin bed) brought from Pennsylvania in a covered wagon by Priscilla's ancestors. and a twin bed. The room is on the second floor. There is a shared bath with one other room.
Note: We are not offering a hot breakfast. Coffee stations are set up for each floor with a microwave and refrigerator. Home made breads, cererals, and juice are available
Mammy's Room
Mammy Williams occupied this room when she ran the "Home Place" as a boarding home in the late 1800's. The room has a king sized bed, a twin bed, and a private bath. This room and the adjacent Mun's room can be used be used as a suite upon request.
Note: We are not offering a hot breakfast. Coffee stations are set up for each floor with a microwave and refrigerator. Home made breads, cereal, and juice are available. We have reduced rates accordingly.
Mun's Room
(1st floor)Mun's room, named for a maternal great-grandmother, has a queen sized bed with a headboard brought from Pennsylvania in a covered wagon and a wheel chair accessible bath. The room showcases a century old sampler made by Priscilla's Aunt Maggie who grew up in the house in the late 1800's. This room is available right now only as part of a downstairs suite.
The bath is handicapped accessible.
Coffee station, refridgerator, microwave, toaster oven.
Provide coffee, juice, cereal, homemade breads.
Drummer's Room
(2nd floor)This room was named for the traveling salesmen, called Drummer's, who rented rooms from Mammy when the house was a boarding home. It has a queen bed that belong to Priscilla's great grand father.
The bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The bath is shared with another room on the 2nd floor.
