    The Inn at Woodhaven is a bed and breakfast located in Louisville Kentucky. The Main House and Carriage House are on the National Register and were built in 1853. The award winning Rose Cottage was built in 1998 using details from each of the original buildings. Eight overnight accommodations are in the Main House, Carriage House or Rose Cottage and all offer high end amenities and comfortable furnishings. Breakfast is over the top, and made with local organic products. We serve in our formal dining room or we can deliver to the guests room. Guests also have complimentary coffee, tea and snack stations in each room.

    We offer free wi-fi and parking for each guest and we have two pet-friendly rooms!

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Most travelers stay here to do the Bourbon Trail and to visit Churchill Downs.  We also get a lot of people that stay here that are driving long distances. Louisville is a good halfway point to many destination cities by car.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    The history and architecture of the Inn are definitely what make the property stand out from the others.  It was built in 1853 and was constructed in a French Gothic Revival style.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    The Bourbon Trail is definitely top of the list of reasons to come to Louisville.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    The Inn is historic yet comfortable and feels like home.  And the breakfast is amazing!

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    The food scene and the art scene are a wonderful surprise for travelers.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    If a traveler is here for four nights we would suggest Bourbon Tours, Churchill Downs, Cherokee Park, Waterfront Park and walking bridge, Louisville Slugger Factory, Muhammad Ali Museum, Speed Museum, Frazier Museum, Historical Walking Tour, Cave Hill Cemetery and Historical Walking Tour of St. James Court including the Conrad Caldwell House.  And dozens of options for dining!

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    Brown Park and Bear Grass Nature Preserve are both walking distance to the Inn at Woodhaven.

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Just within a mile of us our four top choices are Lou Lou Food and Drink, Mojitos in Havana, Simply Thai and Momma's Fried Pickles and Mustard.

    We have 8 rooms and we can sleep up to 21 people

    Do you accept pets?

    We have two rooms on the property that pets are welcome to visit, the Derby Room and the Rose Cottage.
