The Lighthouse Lodge on Lake Shafer is the newest, most luxurious bed and breakfast in the Lake Shafer / Lake Freeman / Monticello area. Our lodge sits on lake level surrounded by Lake Shafer and Mallard Bay. We have a historical stone lighthouse built in the 1930’s ,soon after Lake Shafer was formed by the construction of Norway Dam. We have swimming areas available both on the main lake and in the bay, and a large park-like lawn for sunning and sitting in the shade of our many trees. Our rooms have ceramic tile floors, large private bathrooms, therapeutic foam topped queen and king sized beds with high thread count linens, and are tastefully decorated.

You can add our "cottage on the lake" (sleeps up to 7 guests) for $694.40 (includes tax)/weekend and add our "accessible cottage" ( sleeps up to 6 guests) for $739.20 and add our "blue roof cottage" (sleeps up to 9 guests), or our new "waterfront chalet" ( sleeps up to 6 guests) for $784.00 (includes tax)/weekend. Add $7.00/person for breakfast at the lodge for guests in the cottages, if desired. You can have a midweek wedding (Sun.-Thurs.) / reunion / vacation for a discounted price of $2564.80 (including tax) for a 2 night stay.
