Apple Butterscotch Scones

Yield : 12-18 scones

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white + whole egg
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1 apple - chopped into 1/4
  • 3/4 cup oats mixed with 1/4 cup flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix ingredients thoroughly until margarine is well blended with all else.
Scoop onto lined pans approx. 1 1/2" apart.
Bake for 15 min. Serve hot out of the oven.
