Utah is a tourist magnet with plenty of sites. An outdoor person’s dream, Utah has much to do year-round. Must sees include Zion, Arches and Bryce Canyon national parks. Nowhere else will you find the rock color and formations as seen in these parks and many others. Northern Utah is the home of skiing. The US Ski Team calls Park City home. Provo, Ogden and Deer Valley are also huge ski cities. These areas not only offer skiing but also a close-by city environment and have great access via an international airport. Other winter activities include speed skating and bobsledding. If you are looking for a more cultural Utah experience, it is home to the Sundance Film Festival, DOCUTAH Film Festival, and the Red Rock Film Festival to name a few. Over 5 million people visit Temple Square annually, which contains the Salt Lake City Temple, SLC Tabernacle, Assembly Hall and Seagull Monument. Two visitor centers are also on site. There is a great culinary scene here. Move aside funeral potatoes and Jell-O! Celebrity chef Tom Woodbury hails from the Beehive State, working to promote Utah and its budding culinary scene. With 8 accredited cooking schools here, it’s easy to see that the movement is budding. Not only is food scene growing in fame, there are also many famous folks who hail from Utah to include Julianne Hough, Roseanne Barr, Donny & Marie Osmond and Butch Cassidy. So go for the one-of-a-kind outdoor experience, but include Utah on your next outing.
