More About Ohio

Ohio has many attractions, including the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Another famous landmark is the Zanesville Y-bridge, which is built at the intersection of the Muskingum and Licking Rivers, one part was built to the middle of the river, and the others forking left and right. Ohio has always been cutting edge. Oberlin College was the first college in the US to admit women, the Cincinnati Red Stockings was the first professional baseball team in 1869, Akron was the first city to use police cars, and Cleveland became the first city to be lighted by electricity in 1879. It is also the birthplace of Life Savers, invented by Clarence Crane in Cleveland in 1912.
