Marblehead is a town in Essex County on the north shore of Massachusetts. Marblehead Harbor is well known for its extensive displays of sailing craft, since the harbor has been a major sailing port for hundreds of years. One race, between Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Marblehead began in 1905 and is still going on today.
