Casablanca Suite
Casablanca suite is unique in a very tasteful, Moroccan sort of way. It is many people's favorite. This golden hued suite is a favorite with our horse lovers and West Coast guests.

Somewhere in Time
Somewhere In Time is our largest and most luxurious main suite. It was the original owner's suite of this grand old house. Newly opened for fall 2010! HUGE is a word that comes to mind. Elegant is another descriptor. Fitting for the mood and feel of this elegant suite, Somewhere In Time has its own private hallway to get to the entrance of this secluded suite in the main house. We refer to it our Bridal suite or Presidential suite. And for very good reason!
You first enter into the 19.5-foot long sitting room with original, restored hardwood floors, custom outfitted day bed, overstuffed down-filled matching chairs, fireplace, bookshelves flanking the fireplace, custom drapes, and elegant large desk. Go past the sitting room and enter into the hallway where you have a choice to go into the exquisite 22-foot bedroom or turn right to go to our very large bathroom with a large "her's" vanity and a separate "his" vanity. (Yes, indeed a marvelous room for a bridal and bridal party to get ready!)
We have a wonderful 2-person air whirlpool with aromatherapy, spectacular spacious walk-in tile shower, soft French Toile wallpaper, separate "necessary" room. This bathroom is a large, exquisite retreat!
For your comfort, the spacious main bedroom includes a 4-poster "Grand Hotel" king bed with custom bedding, thick mattress, and gorgeous custom drapes with swags and jabots and panels that puddle into the floor with it custom ivory imported carpet. Fabulous Flokati rug in front of fireplace.
We had an exquisite "Somewhere In Time" framed oil painting commissioned specifically for the suite by professional artist Steven Sawyer to hang over the large fireplace.
Make yourself comfortable in the matching wing back chairs to watch the HD Flatscreen TV with Satellite TV/DVD. Tiered candles on hearth. Fresh flowers or live Orchids always. Decorated is dream like impressionistic shades of blue and ivory.
Can accommodate 3 people. $50. extra person fee for occupancy over 2. We are told by our well traveled guests that Somewhere In Time is one of the loveliest suites in the world.

Guest Information & Policies
Equestrian Events
During Equestrian events such as the Keeneland Meet (April and October weekends), the Kentucky Derby [1st weekend in May) and the Rolex 3-Day Event (3 days of last weekend in April), A 2 night minimum stay is required.

Check-Out
- Check-out time is 12 noon
Cancellation Policy
Should there is a necessity to cancel an individual reservation, it must be done 7 or more days prior to the booked date in order for us to rebook, especially around the time of equestrian events (see exception below). If the cancellation does not take place 7 days or more prior to the booking, and we cannot rebook it, you will be charged the cost of the reservation.
For major events that are scheduled up to a year in advance, such as the Rolex 3-Day Event, The Kentucky Derby or major sporting events such as the Ryder Cup or NCAA Tournament, a cancellation must be made at least 30-days prior to the event is necessary to prevent paying for your entire reservation should you cancel less than 30 days prior to the reservation.
Whole house bookings are handled differently. We need 30 days notice for canceling those. If we cannot rebook the inn, we charge the full amount of the lost booking.
Weddings are an exclusion to the above, in that, there are no refunds on initial deposits since those dates are secured months to years in advance.
