Silverton Bed and Breakfasts
The historic town of Silverton is the county seat of San Juan County and is the only incorporated municipality there. Silverton, population 500, is a small town which has thrived through adversity and today the entire town is a National Historic Landmark. In or around Silverton bed and breakfast, as well as other cozy lodging facilities are available. And Silverton has year-round activities to offer visitors, too. For starters, the Silverton Jamboree celebrates the musical and cultural heritage of the town, and takes place in June of each year. Then, The Red Mountain Snowmobile is a wonderful way to sightsee. You can travel to such local attractions as The Old Hundred Gold Mine where you can relive the mining boom. Several unique dining options are available, including Natalia's 1912, a family owned and operated restaurant which happens to be located in one of Silverton's Oldest Bordellos. Another fun place to visit in town is the Silverton Brewery. All in all, Silverton B&B or Silverton inn patrons can find a host of pleasing events while visiting.
