Many tourists come in the winter to ski in Aspen. The Ajax, the Aspen Highlands, Snowmass Mountain, and Buttermilk mountain are four of the more famous locations for skiing. The Roaring Fork Valley, which extends approximately 50 miles long, is a great place for fly fishing and white-water rafting. Hickory House Ribs is a family-owned Aspen ribhouse that has served such celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Madeleine Albright. It is famous for their baby back ribs. Another place to enjoy fine dining is Brunelleschi's, which is a local Italian restaurant that serves a variety of specialty pizzas, homemade pastas, and refreshing salads. Aspen is a great place to check into a B&B and be close to a variety of activities, great lodging, and fine dining.
