Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers. Many thanks to Alan and Deanne Fielding for sharing their own secrets with BBOnline.com! Why do most travelers stay at your inn?
We are a destination resort. So many travelers are coming to stay at the resort B&B. About half of our guests are local folks who come just for a staycation at a top ranked B&B. Out of town guests also stay with us when they come to shop for wine in Walla Walla, a famous area in Washington State where highly ranked wines are produced.
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?
Romance, Luxury, Fine Dining.
On-site restaurant, swimming pool, theatre room, and very luxurious suites.
We love our guests most and wish we had more of them.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
"Everything was perfect. You have thought of all the details."
What’s the best kept secret about the area?
That the best food in the area is served in a small restaurant affiliated with our Bed and Breakfast, The Vine.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?
Wine tasting, fishing, relaxing with a book by the waterfall filled pool, orchard trail hikes, bike riding, downtown shopping in Walla Walla, excellent dining opportunities, and rich cultural events in Walla Walla, including Shakespearean theatre, and music festivals. At themansion, we also offer many recreational pursuits should you choose to never leave, such as swimming, horsehoes, tetherball, volleyball, bocce ball, hot tubing, fishing, hiking, apple picking, cherry picking, movie watching, all kinds of card and table games, and hundreds of videos. We are proud to say that the food at The Vine, our upscale restaurant, is of the very highest quality of any dining in wine country and we stand behind that statement with our personal guarantee of your total satisfaction.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?
We are a destination, isolated from most city din, so walking would be on our orchard and vineyard trails, down to the Walla Walla River, and the outdoor swimming pool.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
Other than our on-site The Vine, Whitehouse Crawford.
Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference? How many rooms does your inn have?
Do you accept pets?
No, we are pet free.
