Each guest room is unique, so guests choose from a selection of comforts: soaking or jetted tubs, gas or electric fireplaces, private decks or patios. All rooms feature beautifully appointed King beds, luxurious private baths, individual climate control and the room amenities of any fine resort.
All guest enjoy unlimited use of property amenities … swim in the heated pool from April through October. Use the hot tub year-round, along with the steam room and sauna. Hike 36 acres of woodlands and meadows: follow a spring-fed stream past an 1840’s cabin to the North Fork of the Rivanna River.
The Inn’s spacious common areas inside and out invite conversation, reading, playing a game or just relaxing. Single or Couples Massages can be arranged at your convenience. Wireless internet access is available in the public areas of the Inn and in some guest rooms.
Breakfast with a View
Enjoy a special breakfast while feasting on the beauty of the countryside! Every menu includes choice of juice and beverage, seasonal fresh fruit, warm sweet bread, your choice from a selection of four entrées and breakfast meat or smoked salmon. Coffee and a variety of teas are served at the breakfast bar beginning at 7 a.m. (and are available in the pool level gathering room throughout the day). Breakfast is served on the Breakfast Patio, weather permitting, or inside looking out to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Eleven miles north of Charlottesville, ten minutes from the airport in the Albemarle County magistrate of Advance Mills - we are 2.3 miles from Route 29 yet a world away. Discover the history of three President’s homes: Jefferson's Monticello, Madison’s Montpelier and Monroe’s Ashlawn-Highland. Visit the University of Virginia, tour wineries, breweries, cideries, shop for antiques, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway or Skyline Drive. The adventurous may enjoy golfing or skiing, horseback riding, biking. Hike on the property or in the Shenandoah National Park … even a balloon ride can be arranged for your enjoyment.
