Brownsville, Vermont, is located in the south eastern part of the state on state Route 44 near West Windsor, Vermont. If you enjoy outdoor activities, check out the Ascutney Mountain Resort, one of Vermont's major family-friendly ski areas. Ascutney Mountain Resort can be accessed just east of Brownsville. From July 25 to July 27 each year, Brownsville and neighboring Windsor, Vermont, are home to the Annual Harpoon Barbeque Championship of New England.
