    Amie St. Jean Bed and Breakfast

    Stay in a Piece of Black Hills History.

    Relish the surroundings of period decor and antiques while being pampered with fine linens, china, silver and gourmet food.

    The House is located two blocks north of the Civic Center, making it a perfect location for all attending or performing events held there. Adjacent to the Civic Center is Memorial Park which hosts out door events with it's small lake and rose garden. It connects to the walking/bike trail that runs along Rapid Creek. The City recently constructed a pass-through from Memorial Park to Main Street Square, which puts you in the heart of Down Town Rapid City with all the Shopping and Dining offered there. Main Street Square hosts year round events.

    Each Suite is furnished in antique and supplied with fine linens. They all have their own private connecting bathroom. TV's, wifi and cable are also supplied.

    Each suite is double occupancy. It includes a gourmet breakfast, and afternoon, or evening snack.

    The house was built in 1917 by John C Haines

    John was a prominent local business man with mercantiles on Main Street, both in Rapid City and Deadwood. He became the first president of the local power company. A main throughfare in Rapid City was named in his honor. (Haynes Blvd.)

    Mr. Haynes build this house in downtown Rapid City. In the early 1950"s it was moved to it's current location to house the Benedictine Sisters of St.John's Church
