The hills are a solid part of Nemo's history and the city has remained the "Hub of the Black Hills". Spend a weekend at a Nemo inn to explore the hills and quaint city atmosphere. The Mickelson Trail is a wonderful trail to ride, bike, or horseback ride. It is a converted railroad bed that takes you through some wonderful scenery. There are places to rent bicycles if you need to in Hill City and in Custer. Another place to visit in Nemo is Black Hills Mining Museum where you can tour an underground mine.
