  • Breakfast

Country Willows Bed & Breakfast, inn breakfast

Beginning at 7:45 AM, enjoy our fresh brewed coffee (The Good Bean - Jacksonville). A wonderful selection of organic and all natural full leaf teas is always available throughout the day, again by a local purveyor (Devi Tea - Medford). You'll find freshly made muffins, tea breads and our signature granola available at this time, but be sure to save room for the main entree yet to come.

Greet the morning in our sunny and cheery breakfast room where you can enjoy the inn's garden surroundings. Or, you may wish to ponder magnificent mountain and valley vistas if you choose to dine at one of our outside tables on the beautiful wrap-around veranda --- in either case, always at a table of your own choosing.

A full two-course breakfast which includes juice, a fruit course, and a sweet or savory hot entree is served between 8:30 and 9:30 AM daily. Using only the freshest ingredients and organic whenever possible, we enthusiastically and passionately strive to create a breakfast that is memorable and nutritious.

Country Willows Bed & Breakfast, Sunny Dining RoomIn the growing season, beginning early in the morning a harvest takes place in our own organic garden where a variety of herbs and flowers are gathered. Additionally, vegetables and fruits from our garden, as well as those from local farms (we faithfully visit the Ashland Grower's Market) are utilized in our breakfasts. Menus inspired by the seasonal rhythm of the garden are intensely flavorful and are a delight to the senses. Refreshments are readily available at our breakfast station throughout the day. Be sure to sample our homemade cookies, biscotti, or fresh fruit alongside our freshly made iced teas, lemonade, hot cocoa or specialty teas.

  • About the Inn

Welcome to Country Willows, a gracious farmhouse country bed and breakfast located in beautiful Southern Oregon. Situated on a bucolic five acres at the edge of the charming theater town of Ashland, the inn brilliantly blends the rustic elegance of a historical farm with the comfort and modern amenities today's visitors seek.

    Ashland's Country Willows, Inn history

    A Glimmer of the Past

Built in 1896, the Inn was once a working horse farm and remnants of its past are evident in the many farm implements found throughout the property. The barn once housed a stallion fertility station; over the years rooms in both the inn and the barn were added and fashioned in a craftsman manner to reflect its original heritage. Throughout its history as both a farm and an inn, perennial gardens have been planted, fences mended, and animals welcomed, a testament to the on-going rhythm and life of this Ashland farmstead/inn. Now in its third decade as a bed and breakfast inn, Country Willows welcomes both returning and new guests each year.

Country Willows Bed & Breakfast, inn garden entertainment

    A Glimpse of the Present

Relax and unwind in one of our spacious and well-appointed guest rooms offering views of the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountain ranges, and quite possibly, a wandering goat or a wayward goose. Inspired by European country houses in their detail, rooms in the inn and cottage exude calmness in their understated elegance, simplicity, and charm. Barn suites reflect their Northwest heritage with superb attention to detail, timeless design, and spacious interiors.

Take your book, grab a complimentary cup of hot tea or homemade cookie from the afternoon offering, and sit in one of the Adirondack chairs by the willow tree (or perhaps you'd prefer the rocking chairs in the English garden). Also available are bicycles, horseshoes, croquet, and lawn bocce.

Follow the path heading from the barn to access miles of hiking trails meandering through timber stands and open meadows. When you've worked up a sweat, remember that the pool is open, inviting you to float or splash as you like. Retire to your own private porch or patio for a lazy, sun-soaked nap before gearing up for a night of theatre. Upon awakening from your midnight's summer dreams, enjoy a full country breakfast, lovingly prepared and graciously served at individual tables in the sunny dining room or on the outdoor veranda. We invite you to savor and delight in the Country Willows experience.
