Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

A lot of them have some type of connection to OU.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

I think it’s having a chef/cater on site and being so close to OUs campus (3 blocks). Also, we have one suite, so it provides a quiet feeling that you may not get at other B&Bs. What do you love most about your inn? I love that we have the opportunity to talk to our guests and learn who they are, and be a part of their lives.

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    University of Oklahoma

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

We went above and beyond than any other B&B had provided.

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

Lions Park, which is 1 block north of us, and provides free concerts featuring local bands during the summer.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

Definitely go to different local hole-in-the-wall restaurants, explore OU, and check out the museums.

Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

Parks, University of Oklahoma, Campus Corner(Shops and Dining), and museums.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Thai-Sweet Basil, American-Loui's, Italian-Othello's, Benventui's, or Victoria's.

Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference?,

"Excellent Service and cozy stay" 02/23/2011

I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast, its the only room in the place, so you get top quality treatment. Betsy and Doyle are amazing hosts, greet you at your car and made fresh warm cookies. Customized breakfasts and toured the room with all the extra little touches you would want to know about. Excellent water pressure and lots of hot water, something lacking in some bed and breakfasts. Only downside would be the traffic since they are right off main, kinda noisey waking up to that, but not too bad.

    "Excellance" 05/17/2010

The accommodations at Prairie Crossings were much more than we had anticipated. My husband and I were treated like royalty. Friends of ours recommended the bed and breakfast for a place to stay when we went to Norman to tour the University of Oklahoma with our son. The location was walking distance to the university,as well as historic downtown. The room was beautifully decorated; as if we we were at our own home. The food was 5 star quality, the atmosphere was peaceful, and tranquil. We did not have to ask for any thing, Dale and Betsy Bishop; the owners, gave us a 5 star experience we will never forget and recommend this place to even the pickiest of travelers. We will always stay at Prairie Crossings, when we go to Norman and my husband and I have even made reservations for our own romantic get away....
