    Alpine Inn

    Located halfway between Boone and Asheville, The Alpine Inn clings to the side of Grassy Mountain, overlooking the Black Mountains in the Pisgah National Forest, directly located along the DiamondBack, overlooking the foothills of Western North Carolina, within easy reach of the city of Asheville, and the towns of Spruce Pine and Marion.

    Our rooms are of a traditional style, wood paneled, with windows and balconies that open out to a view that stretches on for miles!

    Please note: Our rooms do not have A/C (but there are fans and windows in every room). Every room has it's own heating unit.

    Our rooms do not have televisions, but one look out of the window at the ever changing natural scenery unfolding before your eyes and you will see why you wouldn't even switch it on even if it was there!

    Our rooms are internet accessible though, and all are non-smoking rooms for your comfort.

    The Inn is a family owned and operated country inn that has served the Blue Ridge Parkway for over 75 years, and we like to think we have some of the most magnificent mountain views in the entire region!

    We take pride in our Inn, because it is where we live too, and that's why we know we will treat you like family, because a visit to the Alpine Inn is a visit to our home!
