Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

Our Inn is conveniently located to four other cities and all they have to offer, Asheville, Hendersonville, Brevard and Saluda. It is also just down the street from the State Theater, Flat Rock Playhouse and the Carl Sandburg Historic Home. We are a short drive to the Biltmore Estate. There are also outdoor activities and waterfalls at DuPont and Pisgah State Forests.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

We are best known for our close proximity to the Flat Rock Playhouse. Our tranquil location and the relaxing screen porch is a big draw for some wishing to get away from the madding crowd and yet have the convenience to restaurants and activities. Our warm hospitality makes everyone feel comfortable. What I love most about our Inn is that we are small and able to give our guests lots of TLC.

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

Our location is very convenient to art, music, theatre, hiking, waterfalls, restaurants, Biltmore Estate, Flat Rock Playhouse, Carl Sandburg Home and two State Forests.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

Our hospitality and our ability to make our guests feel at home seems to be a common thread in all of our reviews.

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

Flat Rock has always been a historic haven for its mountain ambiance and natural beauty. For this reason it has been a vacation destination for decades for surrounding Southern states. It is also conveniently located to many and varied activities.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

If a traveler is staying in the area for four nights a must is to take in a show at the Flat Rock Playhouse. A trip to Biltmore Estate would be a full day. A hike in the forest to see the waterfalls and enjoy a picnic would be inspiring. If they like shopping, the historic towns offer unique crafts, art galleries and gifts. They may also enjoy wine/beer tasting at local wineries and breweries.

Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

It seems that almost every activity is about a mile away from our Inn. People could walk on our property and enjoy a stream, two ponds and the flower gardens.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

The area offers a wide variety of restaurants that we could recommend, however many people have liked those who specialize in Barbeque.

Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference?

How many rooms does your inn have?

We have three rooms, but one is still under construction, so two are presently operational.

    Do you accept pets?

No, I'm sorry we do not accept pets, and I cannot recommend a place for them to stay.
