    The Inn at Gothic Eves, front view The Inn at Gothic Eves, built in 1855, is situated in the Village of Trumansburg, New York, in the Finger Lake Region of NY, near the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Our historic Inn offers eight relaxing guest rooms and suites located in two buildings, the Main House and the Potter House, both filled with period antiques, quilts, fireplaces, pillowtop beds and personal touches. The Potter house is newly renovated and houses two spacious suites with fireplaces, wet bar, sitting rooms and soothing private baths. The Inn at Gothic Eves has a large dining and sitting room for entertaining and private parties. A slate patio between the Potter House and the Main Inn house expands the space for parties in good weather.

    Located in the Upstate NY Finger Lakes Wine Region. Ithaca College and Cornell University are a quick 15 minutes from our Bed & Breakfast Inn.     The Inn at Gothic Eves, The Perfect Place For Your Morning Coffee

    Roman & Rose met at the University of Maryland while Roman was pursuing his MS and PhD in Crop Physiology. Rose was pursuing her BS and MS in Botany. They have been married 19 years and have two wonderful children, Anna and Rachel. They moved to Trumansburg, NY in 1994 to raise their children in a quality environment and to do what they love best- entertaining guests, cross country skiing, sailing, and backpacking.

    Weekend Getaways in Upstate New York, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers

    We offer an exclusive and most charming facility for New York group travel in the Finger Lakes Region for small, intimate celebrations. It is ideal for enjoying a decadent evening of soaking in a wood-fired hot tub and a soothing massage for special adult occasions, or equally appropriate for family reunions and reminiscing about old times around an outdoor fire pit.

    This comfortable space is perfect for weekend getaways in Upstate New York for a group of friends, pre- or post-wedding parties, bridal or baby showers, retreats, reunions, or any other occasion. A local chef caters our events. Lunch, dinner, appetizers, wine and cheese, cocktails, and picnic menus are available.

    The Inn at Gothic Eves, diningYou have a choice of celebrating your special event in the warm wood-trimmed Potter House with wood fireplace and pocket doors, which open to the outdoor slate terrace. The terrace has beautiful dapple sunlight provided by a 200 year-old maple tree. The adjacent Inn is the ideal setting for a sit-down dinner in the formal dining room and garden porch or a formal cocktail and appetizer party.

    The facility can accommodate up to 25 people. Sit-down dinners are restricted to 16 people unless you would like to have your event under a tent at the on the slate terrace. If the event requires both houses, all rooms must be rented at their nightly rate. A facility charge is applied to every event and ranges between $250-600. The charge entitles you to the use of the facility for 3 hours and additional hours will be charged an hourly fee. Please call for more details and ask for Rose.

    The Inn at Gothic Eves in Trumansburg, NY, is located between the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and Seneca Lake Wine Trail, within two miles of Taughannock State Park which boasts a 215 foot high waterfall, hiking and cross-country ski trails, sledding, skating, swimming area and boat ramp on Cayuga Lake, and the Finger Lakes National Forest. Cayuga Lake is the best fishing spot in the Finger Lakes Wine Region.

    Ithaca, NY, only ten miles away, has great boutiques and artisan shops, well-known restaurants for fine dining, the Hangar Theatre, state parks for swimming, hiking, a boat marina, skating, picnic areas, and you will also find Cornell University, Johnson's Art Museum and Ithaca College. Cornell University is the home of a Sapsucker bird sanctuary, wonderful fruit orchards, and the famous botanical garden, The Plantations.

    An easy stroll into the Village of Trumansburg, NY will bring you to restaurants - including Hazelnut Kitchen, a fine cuisine bistro, and the Pourhouse, a busy tavern with music most evenings and where everyone knows your name, except our guests. Antique shopping is possible in the village, but don't miss the beautiful Victorian homes built in the 1800s.
