    The Inn, a Queen Anne style Victorian built in 1894 magnificently restored in 1990 by the present innkeepers, Marj and John Loeper. The Northwood, one of the first 200 homes built on the island, was authentically renovated and is now a key historic structure in the Ocean City Historic District. The inn now includes 7 distinctively decorated guest rooms & suites, all with private baths and 2 with Jacuzzis.

    The upper back deck with chaise lounge, chairs and tables provides a quiet place to relax, read or even nap. Guests may also enjoy breakfast al fresco. Morning newspapers, bicycles and beach tags are complimentary.

    Purchased as a gutted shell, it was totally restored in 1989 and 1990 by the present innkeepers, Marj and John Loeper. John has combined his skill as a wooden boat builder and custom home builder to return the Northwood to its original charm and splendor, including the magnificent, sweeping staircase and hardwood floors throughout.

    1. 95 North to the Delaware Memorial Bridge
    2. Go over the bridge and follow signs to Route 40 - Atlantic City
    3. Stay on Route 40 and you will eventually get to Route 559 in Mays Landing
    4. Take a right onto Route 559
    5. Follow this road (approximately 20 min.) to Somers Point
    6. You will come into a traffic circle (The Crab Trap Restaurant and Circle Liquor Store will be on the right)
    7. Just after the liquor store go straight over the bridgeto Ocean City
    8. Once over the bridge start counting lights
    9. At the 5th light take a left onto Wesley Avenue
    10. Follow Wesley Ave. to the corner of 4th & Wesley

    Ocean City Inn to Inn Bed & Breakfast Tour - Sponsored by the Bed & Breakfast Guild of Ocean City and the Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce. Summer tour hours: Thursday 2-4. Fall tour hours: Saturday 2-4.

    Ocean City Historic District Walking Tour - this self-guided tour has been arranged to showcase some of Ocean City's most significant structures. Estimated time for tour is 45 minutes.

    First Night - New Year's Eve celebration with entertainment at eleven performance sites. Admission button price is $8 before 12/1 and $10 after. Tickets for the Ocean City Pops Orchestra performances at 9, 10 and 1 1 p.m. may be reserved when you purchase your button, and must be presented with First Night button upon admission.
