Cedar Creek Bed and Breakfast front

Welcome to Cedar Creek Bed & Breakfast located in Traverse City, Michagan.

Credar Creek Bed & Breakfast is an original Greilick family home. Built in 1892, it was located on the corner of M-22 and Cherrybend Road for over 100 years in a small community called Greilickville. In the Spring of 1990, we had the house moved to its new location in the hills of the old TimberLee Ski Resort. .

We have two guest rooms with private baths, and numerous indoor/outdoor common areas for guests to enjoy. Our setting features flowering shrubs, trees, perennials, a water garden and rustic, wooded countryside views. Two backyard decks provide comfortable areas for reading, socializing, enjoying a cocktail and a snack as well as viewing the pond, perennial gardems and Leelanau county.

A full breakfast or large continental is served each morning in the dining room. Meals always feature lots of fresh fruit, gourmet coffee, herbal teas, homemade scones, french toast or coffee cake, locally made breads and bagels, yogurt, juices and other tasty surprises.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

Hospitality/Generous-Tasty Breakfast - Beautiful Old, Nicely Decorated House - Location/Beautiful Leelanau County

For those who have't been here...the charming small towns with unique shops and restaurants, and many diverse activities, beautiful country roads windig through forests, hills, along Lake Michigan and around small clear blue lakes.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

Everything… sightsee, shop, eat, wine tasting, golf, boating, biking, movies, festivals...it's all here.

    Do you accept pets?

I love dogs and cats, but for everyones comfort, no pets.    Most of the lodging that allows pets has more traditional "kennel" style areas available.  I do feed the birds and other wildlife and guests will enjoy my fish pond and backyard wildlife sanctuary.  Many of the chipmunks will eat out of your hand.
