Alexander Rodgers Suite
This suite is named after the Industrial Tycoon and Lumber Barron, Alexander Rodgers, Sr., who built our home in 1877.
The Alexander Rogers Suite is adorned with newly decorated windows and matching canopy bed appointments. Three large windows allow the sunshine and grand views of Muskegon Lake and Yacht Harbor, and opens up to the delightful lake breezes. A very comfortable yet eloquently designed, “Queen Rice-Poster Canopy” bed with matching Armoire, two end tables, and triple-dresser with full mirror make it an all cherry wood bedroom suite. An all-brass replica of an 1860’s Hunter ceiling fan with all wood teak blades runs silently, and allows additional airflow throughout the room.
The adjoining double-whirlpool bath (60”x60” has plenty of room to stretch out in!) has a solid brass Telephone Shower in the private bathroom. The bathroom is well lighted, including infrared overhead heat to keep you warm and comfortably during the winter months and cool mornings. Enjoy the elegant ceramic pedestal sink and flooring with plush towels and robes to dry yourself up after a relaxing whirlpool bath.
A High Definition Cable, Flat-Panel TV with a “BluRay” Disc Player is provided for our guest’s viewing pleasure. To keep our rooms, “green,” we have retained a gas fired Rinnai instant hot-water heater that only operates on demand. Our hand held remote controlled, state-of-the-art, a mini-split air-conditioning systems can cool just one room at a time, or the entire floor as is needed
Additional items available for guest use are: hair dryer, makeup removal towel, special ‘bath salts’ that softens the water for a more relaxing atmosphere, shower dispenser for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel.
Our very own Chef Barbara will prepare and create a full-breakfast every morning for your enjoyment, and can cater to your dietary needs!

Anastasia’s room is our smallest accommodation. It is luxuriously appointed with black walnut “East Lake” furnishings, and overlooks a century old park through two large windows. It includes a High Definition Cable Flat-Panel TV with a Disc Player to watch movies.
The adjoining private bathroom has a heated ceramic floor and a double-pan-headed all glass front shower room. Specially feature is a well-lighted cherry wood vanity with double mirror. There are two large overhead windows that shower this beautiful bathroom with the morning sunrise. The wall treatment is a soft print wall paper. Plush towels and bath robes await or guest after a vigorous morning shower.
Anastasia’s room also has the state-of-the-art, remote controlled air-conditioning system, and an 1860’s, brass replica Hunter Ceiling fan. Additional items available for our guest use and enjoyment are: shower dispenser that dispenses shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel; a hair dryer, and a makeup removal towel.

Captain's Cabin Suite
The Captain’s Cabin Suite is our largest and most luxurious suite in the Inn. It features double-glass doors that open to spectacular views of beautiful Muskegon Lake and overlooks the Lakeshore Yacht Harbor Boat Club. You can catch a one-of-a-kind sunset for two on a private balcony, while lounging and enjoying drinks.
The Captain’s quarters has a more masculine décor, with all oak flooring, a remote controlled replica coal burning fireplace, and an in-room heated “Waterfall Jacuzzi.” Nestled in a corner is an antique table where you could enjoy your breakfast in the room or a late night snack.
Additionally, the Captain’s Suite includes a private cozy sitting room where you can put your feet up and watch “BluRay” DVD movies on a high definition flat screen TV. The sofa also pulls out into a Queen-guest-bed for accompanying family members.
For business travelers, a desk is provided in the suite just in case space is needed to work, or for anyone to write letters or postcards to friends. Also, You are welcome to our complimentary WI-FI service at your convenience.

Queen Anne's Room
The Queen Anne Room is named after the building architecture style of our Inn which is “Queen Anne”. This room offers a matching cross-sawn-oak Victorian bedroom suite that includes a Queen Bed, matching double-vanity, and Wardrobe Armoire. A massive window facing Muskegon Lake is seven feet tall and five feet wide which provide a beautiful panoramic view of the sunsets on the lake and Lakeshore Yacht Harbor Boat Club below. The burgundy and pink wallpaper was chosen to give you a calming atmosphere.
A High Definition Cable, Flat-Panel TV with a “BluRay” Disc Player is provided for our guest viewing pleasure of high definition movies. Rose Room Suite
Our Rose Room Suite is decorated in the Victorian era style, and named after the delicate rose patterned wallpaper wrapped around the room. The solid oak bedroom suite includes a Queen Sleigh bed with overhead canopy, two side end tables, and a matching wardrobe armoire, all sets on oak flooring throughout the room. Two large windows are draped in white lace curtains that allow plenty of sunlight to stream in. Adorned in the room are original sconce pouter wall lights that operate by push/pull switches or the original push button switch on the wall.
The beautifully carved wooden fireplace sits in the walkway to the property’s original Victorian bathroom that was addedto the house in 1911. This magnificent room still retains all the original fixtures by Kohler, including an original nickel plated pan-head shower and shower curtain rod, as-well-as a Kohler ceramic pedestal sink, tub, and commode.
Included in the suite is a high definition cable, flat-panel TV with a separate HD-DVD player for your entertainment needs. The Rose Room Suite has a state-of-the art, hand held and remote controlled air-conditioning system, also found all of our guest rooms.
Plush bath robes and towels are provided for your relaxation and comfort. Additional items available for our guest use and enjoyment are: hair dryer, our special ‘bath salts’ that softens the water for a more relaxing atmosphere, shower dispenser of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel .

Our Inn is the 138 year old Queen Ann Victorian mansion, built by Alexander Rodgers, Sr. in 1877. This five bedroom, 5,000 square foot home sits on the bluffs of Muskegon Lake, just minutes from Lake Michigan sugar sand beaches and the downtown business district.
All rooms are equipped with robes, hair dryers, top of the line mattresses, cable TV, phone, wireless internet, desks, reading lamps, and a refrigerator and ice buckets are available for our guests. Fax/Copier machine. Early morning coffee and daily local newspaper provided. Upon request, a full breakfast can be served up to our guest in their room for an additional charge of $15. Otherwise, our breakfast will be served in our formal dining room or in our (14 window) sun room facing a century old park.

Breakfast will not be apply at any time or be permitted to be used for any Holidays!
o Port City Victorian Inn, Bed and Breakfast has Gift Certificates for sale on line. Go to our web site’s Home page and click on the Reservations icon at the top of the page and purchase a Gift Certificate right there or just give us a call. We will no longer accept any other sites Gift Certificates at our Inn.
o Reservations are confirmed when you reserve your room with a valid credit card and are automatically deposited to Port City Victorian Inn, Bed and Breakfast, LLC through our secured RESERVATION SYSTEM. WE ALSO ACCEPT RESERVATIONS MADE OVER THE PHONE, TOO. A confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent to you to confirm your reservation.
o Cancellations – Cancellations made fourteen (14) days prior to your reservation date is required in order to receive a full refund. If the room is re-rented your deposit will be refunded, otherwise you will be charged the full rate of the room you reserved.
· Note: A 10% handling fee will be charged on ALL CANCELLATION REFUNDS.
· No Shows will be charged 100% of room rate…no exceptions!
o Businessmen’s rates and long term stays are available and are negotiated on an individual basis — ask us!
o Extended stay rates are negotiated on an individual basis — ask us!
o All Prices subject to applicable local and state taxes…subject to change without notice.
o Two night minimum stay required from May 1 thru October 31, on all Fridays and Saturdays.
o Holidays and Community Special Events, you must call for availability.
o Check-In from 4-6:00 p.m. (later arrivals by prior arrangement)
o Check-out for all rooms at 11:00 a.m. next day (later departures must have prior approval, no exceptions)
o If you have medical dietary restrictions or food allergies, it is your responsibility to inform us prior to your arrival (preferred at the time of making your reservations)
o No Smoking allowed inside our Inn at anytime. Smoking permitted in the parking lot ONLY!
o Pets are NOT ALLOWED…sorry!
o Candles – We have a “No Open Flame” (candles, matches, smoking, etc.) Policy in our guest rooms. Smart Candles (battery operated) are available upon request. for a fee.
o Additional room Guest, will be charged $25 per person, per night and will be added to your room bill…no exceptions.
o Guest are responsible for any damage to our guest rooms that they cause or if any property belonging to Port City Victorian Inn, B&B, LLC is removed without authorization…replacement costs will be charged to your credit card.
o Guest are responsible for their own personal property left unattended in our guest rooms. We are not responsible for the loss of guests personal property left in the room.
o STARTING NOVEMBER 1, (and going forward)…WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE ENTIRE WINTER MONTHS AND WE WILL REOPEN THE BED & BREAKFAST STARTING MAY 1, OF EACH YEAR.
o Beach towels are also available for a fee.
