Mendon is in southwest Michigan, along the St. Joseph River, and is home to many fine B&B establishments. Mendon is best known for its annual Riverfest, an arts and crafts festival themed around the village's proximity to the St. Joseph River. Mendon is known for its St. Joseph Grange County Fair, held in the last week of September. The fair features arts, crafts, and agricultural judging. Mendon is close to the famous Arrowhead Cove relaxation gardens. Mendon is also home to the Mendon Country Inn, the traditional halfway point between Chicago and Detroit.
