    Captain Briggs House Bed & Breakfast - Freeport, MaineCaptain Briggs House Bed and Breakfast, located on a lovely lot along a quiet dead-end street, is within easy walking distance to many fine shops and restaurants.

    This historic 1853 home has been upgraded with modern amenities while keeping its New England charm. A charter member of Historic Bed and Breakfasts of Greater Freeport.

     We offer six guest rooms and a two-room suite. All guest rooms have private baths, air-conditioning and are non-smoking. Relax in a cozy sitting room with Direct TV / VCR, books or games. Join in a lively breakfast conversation with other guests while breakfast is being served. (Breakfast available between 8:00 and 9:30; early coffee or breakfasts also available.)

    I believe that we are reasonably priced for the area and we are very accommodating to our guest.

    We are pet friendly and our breakfasts are great.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    Most people come to experience LL Bean and the beautiful scenery of Maine.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    Just like being at home without the work.

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    That the area is a central location to visit many of Maine attractions such as LL Beans Walk-on Adventures and bird watching

    Guest RoomsThe daily fare consists of fresh fruit, home-made pastries (ie, muffins, breakfast breads); cereals; and a hot entree, such as:

    • Various omelets and chef specials

    Our guests enjoy a delicious breakfast, served daily between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Upon request you can be served an earlier breakfast. Also, with advance notice, we can usually accommodate special dietary needs.
