Volcano Village Estates, previously known as Hale Ohia, is the quintessential rainforest escape offering a Big Island bed and breakfast experience to guests visiting Volcano Village. The Dillingham Residence, is the centerpiece of the property, and offers guests a step back to 1931 and includes many of the original features of the home, with leaded glass windows, a large fireplace, and a 600 sq. ft. living room. 

Offering a more private and romantic retreat are six cottages set back into the rainforest. Each has a private entrance, sitting area, and on-suite bathroom. The cottages are all very different in style and design, some have full kitchens and can accommodate a family or friends traveling together, while others offer a very romantic escape for couples.

Built in 2015 the five Bungalows are a contrast to the historic part of the property and offer a modern, luxurious stay.
