Stafford is a town in Tolland County, Connecticut, United States. The town Community & Civic Affairs Commission hosts a Summerfest. The Stafford Lion's Club hosted its first Fall Festival in October 2004. The Summerfest has a fireworks display on the week of July 4th at the high school fields. Stafford also has (limited) access to Sandy Beach on Crystal Lake in Ellington. The Stafford Motor Speedway attracts tens of thousands of spectators every year and is a fixture of spring and summer.
