Tip #46 - What's On the Menu?

Let the chef decide!  If you're in a new place where the food is foreign and the menu is indecipherable, ask your server about a prix fixe menu or menu of the day.  Many restaurants offer these specials for either lunch or dinner and often come with an appetizer, a main course, a beverage, and even a small dessert.  It might be a budgetary splurge, but great taste is guaranteed!
