Tomato Basil Soup
From WHITESTONE COUNTRY INNDirections
Ingredients:
1 Qt Heavy Cream
1 #15 size can of crushed or diced Tomatoes
1 #15 size can of Tomato Sauce
1 Qt Water
1 Tbsp Chicken Base
1/2 Cup of Dried or Fresh Basil
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Cup Graded Parmesan Cheese
1 Tsp Granulated Garlic
Method Of Production:
Bring water to a boil and add Chicken Stock. Add Tomato Sauce, Tomatoes, Basil, Salt & pepper. Thicken with a Roux or Cornstarch. Cook until thickened . Turn off heat and add cheese.
