Roasted Pears with a white chocolate sauce

Ingedients:

3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
2 tsp of ground cinnamon
1 tsp of nutmeg
1/4 tsp of ground cloves
4 pears halved
1/4 cup of of melted butter
1/3 cup of heavy cream
4 oz of chopped white baking chocolates
1/2 cup of sliced almonds
1/2 cup of chopped dried cranberries

Method of production:

Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in a small bowl
place pear halves cut side up on a spayed 2 inch pan and drizzle with melted butter
sprinkle brown sugar mixture evenly across pears
Preheat oven to 400
Bake for 30 mins or until pears are tender
Half way through baking spoon brown sugar mixture over pears
While baking bring heavy cream to a boil and remove from heat, add white chocolate while continuously stirring until you have a smooth sauce
Place a half pear on a plate and top with almonds and cranberries
spoon brown sugar over each pear and then drizzle with the white chocolate sauce.

Top
