Grandma's Apple Cake

This delicious Apple Torte Cake was one of Grandma's many treats that our family had enjoyed through the years. We always looked foreward to Grandma making this delightful morsel for special family gatherings and holidays. Many of our guests ask for the recipe and I am always happy to share it with everyone. 

Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs 1 ¾ cups b teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ teaspoon salt 2 cups flour 1 cup oil 4 apples ( tart or a variety ) ½ cup nuts (optional)
  • 1 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 4 Apples ( Tart )
  • 1/2 cup Nuts

Directions

Mix Eggs and sugar 

Add dry ingredients and vanilla 

Add oil

Fold into batter 4 apples sliced thin ( Grandma used 

tart apples and i use a variety)

Add nuts if desired 

Grease and flour a 9x13 baking pan 

Bake on 350 for about one hour
