Sunrise Farm Granola Bars

3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
8 ounces organic vanilla lowfat yogurt
2 egg whites
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons low-fat milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup dried cherries
1 cup mini semisweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Preheat oven to 350 deg. In a large bowl combine sugars, yogurt, egg whites, canola oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Stir in oats, cherries, chocolate morsels, and almonds. Spread dough onto bottom of greased 13" x 9" pan. Bake 28 to 32 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack before slicing.

Approximately 16 servings.
