Baked Creme Brulee French Toast
From STAR OF TEXAS BED & BREAKFASTCooking Time:
30 to 45 minutesIngredients
- 1 loaf sourdough bread
- 1stick butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. Light corn syrup
- 8 eggs
- 1 c half & half
- 1 tbsp. Grand Marnier
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions
Cut bread into small pieces, place in bowl. Mix eggs, half & half, Gr. marnier, vanilla & salt and pour over bread to soak.
Mix the butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in saucepan and melt.
Spray a baking pan or use ramekins, put melted butter mixture into bottom of pan, then top with the bread mix.
Bake at 350* for about 30 to 45 minutes, turn out onto plate and top with walnuts.
