Canyon Pear Salad

6 to 8 people

Ingredients

  •   Fresh Garden Greens and some Romaine lettuce enough for 6 to 8 people
  • 2 pears, preferably Asian Pears, peel and slice
  • 1/3 lb Gargonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 cup olive oil from "Trader Joes" or cold press virgin oil

Directions

Salad Mix:
Fresh Garden Greens and some Romaine lettuce enough for 6 to 8 people
2 pears, preferably Asian Pears, peel and slice
1/3 lb. of Gargonzola cheese, crumbled
1 cup pecans

Dressing:
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup olive oil from "Trader Joes" or cold press virgin oil

Whisk to emulsify, add to salad immediately before serving, using just enough dressing to coat greens lightly.
