Monkey Bread

From THE SILVER LAKE LODGE

We love recipes that we can prep ahead so we can spend more time with guests and the Monkey Bread is a simple recipe we prepare the night before for breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 18 Rhodes frozen dinner roles
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 small box (3.4oz) instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Directions

. Butter and flour a regular bundt pan (or tube pan)
2. Mix the brown sugar and pudding mix together in a small bowl and set aside
3. Mix the white sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl and set aside
4. Place 9 frozen dinner rolls in the bundt pan
5. Sprinkle half the brown sugar/pudding mix over the dinner rolls, then half the white sugar/cinnamon mix, then half the chopped nuts, then half the melted butter
6. Repeat another layer of 9 frozen dinner rolls, the remaining brown sugar/pudding mix, the remaining white sugar/cinnamon mix, the remaining chopped nuts, the remaining melted butter
7. Place on the counter overnight with a light towel over the bundt pan. The rolls will rise overnight and ready to bake for breakfast
8. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes (time may vary based on your oven)
9. Take out of the oven and let the pan rest for 5 minutes, then turn pan over onto a serving platter
