Spiced Nuts
From HARBOR HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST
4 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ginger 1/2 teaspoon curry powder 1/2 teaspoon red pepper 2 cups whole almonds 2 cups pecan halves 2 cups cashews 2 cups peanuts Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat; stir in spices. Add almonds and cook 4 minutes stirring constantly. Add other nuts, stirring until well coated. Spread in a pan. Bake 325 degrees for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. |
