Classic Mojito

This is the original Classic Mojito developed in Havana, Cuba.  A perfect "porch-sippin" cocktail for the beach!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounzes Havana Club white rum
  • 2 ounzes club soda
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 2 ounzes fresh lime juice
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1 mint sprig

Directions

Place mint leaves into a Collins glass and squeeze juice from a cut lime over it

Add powdered sugar then gently smash the mint into the lime juice and sugar with a muddler

Add crushed ice

Add rum

Stir and top with club soda

Garnish with mint sprig
