2 slices of tomato
2 slices onion (Vidalia if available)
1 small heart of romaine (cut in half lengthwise)

For dressing:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons Gorgonzola, bleu or feta cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare grill to medium-high temperature
Grill onion, turning for about 5 minutes or until it begins to soften
Grill tomato and romaine for approximately 2 mintues turning until romaine just begins to wilt and tomato soften slightly
Arrange on plates with tomato and onion on top of romaine
Wisk all dressing ingredients together and drizzel over the salad
