Kingsbury Blueberry Farm
Caldwell, Texas
(979) 567-9138

In nearby Caldwell, the blueberries grow and grow and grow, so that's why it's a great place to bring your family for a once in a lifetime experience picking your own blueberries. The good news is that the blueberries are all grown organically. The farm has over 100 bushes and four different varieties of blueberries. You can bring your own container, basket or bucket and then have it weighed after it's full. The best season for picking is through June and part of July, farm owners say, and it is better to pick early or later in the day because of the heat. If you like, you can pick in the evening as well. By the time you are through picking your berries, you will probably want to head back to your comfortable College Station bed and breakfast where you might want to share your bounty with your inn keepers.
