The town of Sugarcreek celebrates its Swiss culture by holding the Ohio Swiss Festival every year on the fourth weekend after Labor Day. The 2-day event draws many people from various parts of Ohio, and it offers lots of fun activities and entertainment. The highlight of the event is the Grand Parade, which will feature marching bands, Swiss-themed floats, splendid convertibles, and people in colorful costumes. A Kiddie Parade will also be held, with children appearing in Swiss outfits and riding unique vehicles and floats. A number of interesting contests will take place during the festival, and these include the Steintossen, Big Wheel Race, Swiss Cheese Chase, Tractor Pull, and the Queens, Princesses and Little Swiss Miss pageants. Visitors can also enjoy live performances by well-known musicians and shop for hand-crafted items at the Craft Tent.

The Fabulous 50s Fling Car Show and Cruise is one of the most anticipated annual events in Sugarcreek. The event takes place in the downtown area on the second weekend of June every year. An extensive range of pre-1975 classic cars will be showcased during the car show, and a cruise-in will also be conducted. Other than beautiful cars, attendees will also get to see talented 50s acts perform live on stage.
