White Mountain Central Railroad
Route 3
North Woodstock, NH 03251

To reach White Mountain Central Railroad from Glen, travel south towards Conway and then east towards North Woodstock. The schedule for the train is going to vary based on the season, but the ride is 30 minutes long and covers two and a half miles. Tickets range in price from $18.00 for people age 6 to 64 to as low as $13.00 for these same riders during the fall. The fall is one of the best times to take this excursion because of how beautiful the mountains look as all of the leaves are changing for the season.

Frankenstein's Trestle
Conway Scenic Railroad

One of the best things about this attraction is that you can reach it by foot or by train, which makes it a family friendly attraction. To reach it by foot you will need to leave your Hart's Location Bed and Breakfast first thing in the morning. In order to get to the trestle you will need to hike five miles to get to the bridge, plus you will need to hike up to Frankenstein's Cliff to pass the trestle. Reaching it by train is easy as the train goes directly across the trestle. It's a sight to see because it looks like the trestle is going to fall right off the edge of the mountain.
